my prayer for tuesday

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.

where there is hatred, let me sow love.

where there is injury, pardon.

where there is doubt, faith.

where there is despair, hope.

where there is darkness, light.

where there is sadness, joy.

o Divine Master, grant that i may not so much seek to be consoled as to console,

to be understood, as to understand,

to be loved, as to love.

for it is in giving that we receive,

it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,

and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

harry potter 7 + cookbook kitchen

watched harry potter and the deathly hallows with the family... the movie was great BUT given that it's a part 1 of 2 kind of film, it was also frustrating as you kind of want to scream "WHAT'S NEXT?! / I WANT TO SEE WHAT'S NEXT!!" oh well... no choice but to wait for July 2011!

in the meantime, the family and i have decided to just re-read the whole series and have a harry potter marathon as soon as a day frees up! oh such addicts! haha!

bubble tea

i was in the office yesterday (yes, despite it being a holiday... oh such joy! :p) when suddenly ate called and asked if i wanted to join them for dinner at bubble tea. i never say no to food so off we went...

i wasn't able to bring piccolo so the pictures below were taken by my ever present and ever reliable mobile phone:

(so that's how it tastes... nothing fancy but tin says that the one in little tokyo's real good so we have to try that one asap!)

since the photo i took of the actual bubble tea drinks were a bit blurry, i will not post it anymore... hmmm... i guess that's one reason to go back and have some more of bubble tea's yummy bubble teas!

* note to self... try to bring piccolo everywhere i go so that he doesn't miss out on anything!

i'm so happy that i had my camera (image quality is waaaayyy better!!) this time around... i wasn't able to take shots of the restaurant per se but at least, i was able to do so with their yummy yummy food! mmmmmm! crossing my fingers now that i'll be able to use piccolo more - especially since he has a new and "lighter" friend! hehe!

here's to more adventures before the year comes to an end!!! ;)
